GDF Suez // Annual Report
2011
Graphic Design
GDF Suez S.A. is a French multinational energy company which operates in the fields of electricity generation and distribution, natural gas and renewable energy. I was involved in this project in updating graphically the previous reference document. Colours, fonts and layout were changed to get a clearer and more elegant document.

  • Smart // City Guides
Smart, part of the Mercedes-Bez group is a young & urban car brand.
    ---
I was commissioned by Fever to support a pitch for them. The idea was to create a city guide limited edition across UK main cities that could reflect Smart philosophy.
    ---
I've designed few covers using strong and bold type contrasting with a light city skyline illustration. A pale and subtle colour palette helped keeping the look & feel simple and elegant.
    ---
I've also supported Fever in showing how the complete set would look like. The different books displaying the iconic Smart car on the bindings.

  • Ship2Shore // New Template
The Port of Felixstowe is Britain’s busiest container port and one of the largest in Europe.
    ---
They have been publishing a quarterly magazine for a few years, related to the Port Activity featuring news and articles. They were looking to re-design a new template that could reflect the strong position of the Port in Europe.
    ---
I was there from the outset, presenting initial thoughts to the final delivery. From having designed the entire template the client was very satisfied and has started to roll out the new look and feel.

  • Touch Table // Multimodal 2013
Multimodal is the UK and Ireland's leading freight transport and logistics exhibition. I've been commissioned by Port of Felixstowe (1st Port of Britain) to design an interactive presentation of the port that could be seen on a 56 inches touch table. Based on a colour palette that convey the Port's branding identity, I've designed multiple screens including an "old school" game on a "try to catch the containers" theme. I worked with a developer to design a user-friendly navigation system and to make sure everything would run smoothly when on-site. The touch table was a great success on-site.

  • Maverick // Brand Identity
Maverick, London-based ad agency, was looking to refresh their Brand Identity. A logo was signed off and I was then involved from the initial brief for designing new stationery items. I have sourced different images and came up with several design options. One of the route has then been adapted to update the agency website.

  • Channel 4 // 4OD Campaign
Channel 4 is one of the major television broadcaster in the UK.
    ---
4OD is Channel 4's video-on-demand service. A new advertising campaign was to give a new boost to the service.
    ---
As a designer on a freelance contract, I was commissioned to explore different routes for the campaign.
One option was to give the idea that the viewer would have missed his favourite show and would end-up watching a formula one race.
A second option was to show an end-of-programs screen as if the viewer came back too late to watch his favourite show.
A third one was to blindfold Channel 4 program heroes.
    ---
The campaign expanded around the last option with billboards in the tube stations and on the streets.

The high standard of this hotel is reflected in the simplicity of the design. The typography and the choice of famous quotes gives this booklet a sense of luxury.
